Proways Design Process
Our ProWay Designers offer an onsite design service. This involves the usage of Total Station technology and drone imagery to record accurate measurements of any existing infrastructure (Yards, Laneways, Roads, Sheds, Ramps etc) as well as natural features like trees and slopes. We can then transfer this information to AutoCAD where we can work off a detailed plan to develop your own custom design. This information can also be used to advise and plot out any Earthworks that may be required, services that you may wish to run to your yards drainage and the final mark out (Peg-Out) of your yards.
SITE ASSESSMENT
ProWay’s design process starts with an on-site assessment to check your site’s slope, surface, stock flow, and handling needs. Our expert team then creates a custom CAD design, blending best-practice principles like flight zones and angles with site and operational requirements. We can incorporate existing fences, lane ways, trees, or ramps for cost effective results. We tailor everything to your herd (Bos Taurus or Bos Indicus), scale, and goals, adding innovations like StockFlow™ pneumatics based on client feedback.
DESIGN
ProWay’s manufacturing process is proudly Australian-owned and operated in Wagga Wagga, NSW. We manufacture cattle yards and handling systems using premium, high-quality materials like 1st grade galvanised steel, sourced from leading local suppliers, to ensure toughness in harsh conditions and last a lifetime. Our in-house engineering team custom-makes panels, gates, and components to fit your exact design—not the other way around—focusing on structural soundness, safety, and compliance. Our workshop are focused on efficiency and quality.

Advanced Yard Technology: Pneumatic & Remote Handling
ProWay has a range of pneumatic solutions that can improve your labour efficiency by minimising staff requirements to process cattle effectively, saving you money.
Stock flow is maximised as there is less interaction with people who can potentially cause baulking when in view of individual animals. The potential of auto drafting is also achievable through these systems which again saves time and money.
Other advantages pneumatics can offer your operation is reducing the WHS hazards associated with stockyards, allowing you and your staff to work safer and further from cattle while increasing productivity.
All systems are custom built for individual operations and can be controlled via remote, dedicated buttons or a switch board.

Rotary Force Pens & Curved lead ups.
ProWay designs often include Bugle lead ups and rotary forces that take advantage of cattle’s natural movement and instincts. The rotary force and lead ups often have an elevated walkway that increases safety for operators.
Cattle Races
We offer a range of cattle races to suit the operation and the type of cattle. Options include Adjustable races, V races, and H races. Further options include eleavted walkways, sheeting, release gates and overhanging rails.
Cattle Crushes & Weighing Systems
ProWay works with a number of crush manufacturers to find the most suitable crush for your operation. Husbandry operations, weighing and post crush drafting need to be efficient and safe. We have market leading solutions to maximise flow and operator safety.
Draft Units
Drafting of cattle needs to be safe. We offer a range of solutions from traditional pound yards, to race drafting, elevated platforms and pneumatic drafters. We can discuss which option suits your operation best.
Loading Ramps
Our ramps are endorsed by livestock transporters. They are compliant with the new guidelines. We offer a range of ramps from single deck to two deck ramps and dumps. All ramps are solid, well engineered with a focus on operator access and safety.
Calf Branding & Marking
Calf branding and marking facilities are easily integrated into yard designs. We have different products for Northern and Southern operations.
Specialist Solutions
ProWay have designed, built and project managed many specialist cattle facilities. Examples include Bull selling complex’s, Semen collection facilities, quarantine facilities, port loading/unloading and teaching facilities. If you need a complex facility, we have the experience to assist you.
Rail & Catch Options
We have developed a range of rail options to suit your requirements, from heavy duty cattle rail for high throughput facilities to pipe rail and cooler panels for weaning yards. Gate catches can be a personal preference, and we can take you through our options.

As we personalise yards to suit the client’s individual needs, we can provide you with a price that specifies inclusions and options, and we can start with pricing from our template design library for budgetary purposes.
At ProWay we use round posts wherever we can with our specially developed ‘Endplate’ connection system from Panel to Post. These are stitch welded on site and avoids the need for clamps, nuts and bolts or pins to connect the panels securely. This also ensures a smooth finish with limited bruise points throughout our yards.
We also concrete our posts into the ground throughout our working areas and outer yards, making them fully ground engaging. We are not relying on dyna bolts to secure our yards to the concrete which can fail.
