New Leadership for the Next Phase: Welcoming Michael Dean as CEO

Welcoming Michael Dean as CEO of ProWay Livestock Equipment

ProWay is pleased to welcome Michael Dean as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), joining the business at an important time as we continue to strengthen how we support livestock producers across Australia and beyond.

Michael lives in Tumut with his family and has strong ties to the Riverina region. Having previously worked in the broader Wagga Wagga area, he understands firsthand the needs of regional businesses and the role they play in supporting producers, local communities and the wider agricultural sector.

For our customers, Michael’s appointment brings a depth of experience that will directly support better outcomes on farm. He has worked across manufacturing, engineering, agriculture and supply chain industries, managing large and complex operations and leading teams across operations, finance, sales, marketing and strategy. This breadth of experience will help ensure ProWay continues to deliver practical, reliable solutions that stand up in real-world conditions.

Most recently, as National Commercial Manager at Cresco Australia, Michael led national sales, marketing and commercial strategy, working closely with international teams to drive growth and improve performance. Prior to that, as General Manager of Roddy Engineering, he led a team of more than 60 staff, helping grow the business while introducing modern systems, leadership programs and lean manufacturing initiatives — all focused on improving efficiency and consistency.

Throughout his career with organisations including Kotzur, Laing O’Rourke, Schneider Electric, Hyne Timber and Austrak, Michael has built strong expertise in manufacturing, supply chain optimisation and large-scale operations. For ProWay customers, this translates to a continued focus on product quality, availability and ongoing improvement in how we deliver and support our equipment.

A key focus for Michael is building strong teams and clear accountability across the business. His hands-on, transparent leadership style is centred on understanding how things work day-to-day and continuously improving systems, safety and performance.

He also brings significant experience in lean manufacturing and business improvement, helping streamline processes, improve productivity and support sustainable long-term growth. This aligns closely with ProWay’s commitment to providing equipment that delivers long-term value, reliability and ease of use on farm.

Michael was drawn to ProWay by the strength of its reputation, its people and the opportunity to contribute to a growing business with significant potential.

Michael’s leadership will help ensure we remain focused on what matters most — delivering practical, dependable solutions that help improve efficiency, safety and outcomes for your operation.

On behalf of the Board and the entire ProWay team, we warmly welcome Michael to the organisation and look forward to continuing to support your business into the future.
